Milch Community Partnership Award

The Milch Award, created in 1979 by Mrs. Pearl S. Milch, recognizes organizations that offer meritorious service to the Baltimore metropolitan community. Each year during the May graduation ceremony, Loyola presents the award to a community agency that has collaborated closely with the university to provide excellent community service and educational opportunities for Loyola students during the past academic year.

For more information on the nomination process for this award and for a list of previous recipients, visit the Milch Award page.

Student Community Service Awards

Each year, the Center for Community Service and Justice gives awards to students who have shown an exemplary commitment to community service and social justice.  The Rev. John P. O'Connor, S.J. Community Service Award is given to a graduating senior at Commencement, and the Community Service Award is given to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors at September's Gratias awards ceremony.
