How can we consider the rights and needs of all Americans as we exercise our voter influence and responsibility?

Consider how the following questions might influence your perspective as a conscientious citizen and propel you into action as a voter. For those of you actively engaged in community service and justice initiatives, think about how the community where you've been serving will be affected by these issues.

Hunger & Homelessness:

Why do you think neither hunger nor homelessness have been talked about in the pre-election coverage?

Healthcare:

How does voting/political involvement pertain to the availability of healthcare?

Education:

Have you heard much debate about how to improve our educational system in the lead-up to the general election? What proposals have been offered?

Urban development:

What proposals have been put forth to address the failing infrastructure in our urban centers and the needs of those who live there?

Immigration:

How many of you know family, friends, co-workers whose lives are seriously impacted by the current immigration policies?
