“Ongoing community service” means making a commitment to do community service on a regular basis at a particular community site. Most sites ask for a weekly commitment, but others may offer opportunities for more frequency or even less. Ongoing community service allows you to learn through direct involvement with community members. You can choose the types of issues and groups of people that you are interested in working with; just check out the service site chart for an easy way to understand the options.
