Questions to Ask:

What am I looking for in a community service experience?
What population(s) do I wish to serve (e.g. children, senior citizens, differently abled persons, women/men who are homeless, illiterate adults)?
In what kind of setting do I wish to serve (e.g. shelter, classroom, community center, office, outdoors)?
What are my needs, interests, preferences, motivations in seeking community service experiences?
What are my career goals? How would service experiences support my goals and prepare me?
What kind of commitment in terms of time and frequency do I wish to make? Do I want to be involved in a one time event or a regular weekly commitment? Which days/times are best for me?
Where is God calling me to serve?
