What are the volunteers saying?

Habitat for Humanity!

“Saturday’s experience at the Sandtown Habitat was incredible!  The people were so invested in the work and it was great to see a different part of the city and work alongside the community members…it was an exhausting, exhilarating day and I would love to participate in another build date.”

~ Sherri Doyle, Speech Pathology ‘09

St. Mary's Painting Project!

On Saturday August 18th, we had over 20 volunteers freshening some paint in the hallways of the school supported by staff at St. Mary's. The volunteers were from various graduate programs here at Loyola and they were also joined by undergraduates, administration, faculty and some family members.

It was a great day of high energy and good way to continuously build on Loyola's partnership with St. Mary's. In addition to the actual painting, we had some donations to the project. Loyola's Facilities and Community Relations donated primer, paint, brushes and various other supplies to complete the job, while Sodexho kept us going strong with a free boxed lunch for all volunteers.
