**Loyola Alums: We Need Your Help Too!
What is the Good Stuff Campaign? The Good Stuff Campaign provides students with an opportunity to live out Loyola’s mission by donating their clothing, dishes, small appliances, and unopened food to local agencies. The people who are served by these agencies can benefit tremendously from your generosity! And, the program is particularly helpful to graduating seniors as they move out of the residence halls immediately after Commencement. Drop off sites for all students are located around campus during Exam Week and Senior Week and vans and trucks are available near dumpsters on graduation day. Volunteers are needed during Exam Week, Senior Week and on Graduation Day to collect, sort and deliver items. Return to top of page
What do I have to do? Where can I drop-off donations? Very little actually ... and here's why. Student volunteers will be going door to door in the residence halls. They'll knock on your door and remind you to donate. If the items are small enough, the volunteers should be able to help you bring the donations to one of the drop-off stations around campus.
There will also be Good Stuff donation drop-off stations in every residence hall. In any case, please do NOT leave items inside your room or in the hallways or stairwells. Donation Drop-Off Stations, April 30 - May 11 - Campion: Meditation Room (Cam 112)
- Newman: Back of Primos against glass windows
- Charleston: STC 10B (Laundry Room), SOU 26A (Laundry Room), LAN Laundry (Under 36/38), HOP Front Lobby
- Gardens: A,B,C,D all on the 2nd floor under the Bulletin Board
- Hillside: ERH 1st Floor Lobby, HA & BU 1st Floor Lounges (Not lobby)
Donation Drop-Off Stations, May 12 - 17 - Hopkins Lounge
- Aquinas Laundry Room
- Ahern Laundry Room

I’m a Loyola alum – how can I help? Loyola alums: We need you! Do you remember moving out on graduation day and seeing the mounds of trash in the dumpster? Well, much of that “trash” is useable and can be donated to local agencies. Alumni volunteers are a great help to the Good Stuff Campaign. Volunteers are needed on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 to help collect “good stuff” from graduating seniors. Both morning and afternoon shifts are available. To register or learn more about the program, please contact the Center for Community Service and Justice at 410-617-2909. Return to top of page
Will it take long -- I don't have much time? It shouldn't take much time. ... Students from other years have said that they just got an extra box or bag and as they were packing their items, and when they came upon something to donate, they just put it in the designated box or bag. That's it. It won't add any time to your packing. And it’ll make your move on graduation day that much easier. Return to top of page

What if live off campus? We hope to collect from off-campus residences in the Homeland neighborhood. But, if volunteers do not visit your apartment, please consider bringing your items to one of the drop-off stations. Please be considerate of local neighbors and do not leave donated items outside of your apartment.
