First, congratulations on this wonderful achievement! We are very excited to have you join us as a member of the Class of 2013. Below is some information on some next steps. You will be receiving more information in the coming weeks and months. Please feel free to email us at admission@loyola.edu, or call us at 1-800-221-9107, ext. 5012 or 410-617-5012 with any questions. All students who wish to be considered for need-based assistance must complete the 2009-10 College Scholarship (CSS) PROFILE Application and the 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The filing deadline for both was February 1, 2009. Click here for more information about Loyola's financial aid application procedures and notification dates. On April 4 and April 18, we welcome you and your family to our campus for a comprehensive look at our academic offerings, social and extracurricular activities, and campus facilities. After the opening session, you and your family design your own day at Loyola and explore. Register here for the Accepted Student Open House. We look forward to seeing you. All incoming first-year students are highly encouraged to attend Summer Orientation, a 1.5 day session for students and parents. The programs include student development programming, course registration, housing preregistration, and a variety of sessions designed specifically for parents. The dates for 2009 Summer Orientation are: June 22-23 June 25-26 July 6-7 July 9-10 Beginning in mid-April, students who have submitted deposits and reserved a place in the incoming class will receive an invitation in the mail to register for a summer orientation session. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, contact the Leadership and New Student Programs Office at 410-617-2032. After you have submitted your deposit, you will receive information concerning registration along with your orientation information.
In selecting housing, you are encouraged to choose a type of living environment that fits your lifestyle. Therefore, you have the option of choosing a room type, or special living community, rather than an actual building. For more information on housing, click here. First-year students will be able to move in on August 27, 2009. Check our list of important dates to learn more about deadlines, deposits, the academic calendar and more.
