What's your favorite thing about living in Baltimore?:
Even as a student I loved going into the city, and looked forward to the day when I could finally live there. I think Baltimore is a perfect extension of Loyola's campus. It is not an intimidating city; there is definitely a community charm in it, much like Loyola itself. Not to mention, Baltimore is full of so much culture and character. Although contrary to its size, Baltimore's a place that will take you way beyond the four years at Loyola to completely understand.
Why Loyola?:
I chose to attend Loyola because of the feeling I had as soon as I stepped foot on campus. This is truly a living and learning environment and that tight-knit community vibe is present from day one. Loyola makes you feel like you're important, like you're part of something; students know you, faculty know you and it's easy to hold leadership positions. It is a place where you can grow intellectually, personally and spiritually, and Loyola helps you do all three.
What is it like being part of a Jesuit community?:
Being a part of the Jesuit community means knowing that the whole person is being cared for. Whether it is as a student, or as an employee, Loyola cares for more than just one part of who you are. When I was a student it wasn't just learn a trade and get a job, Loyola also wanted me to learn about myself, reflect on what was going on around me and learn from that too. Loyola truly makes you reach your fullest potential.
