Classics Department
Loyola's Alpha Program offers interested incoming students an intensive introduction to academic life and the Jesuit tradition through smaller classes, extra class meetings, off-campus and interdisciplinary activities and a series of other special events. A course in Classics is an excellent way to begin freshman year. Although the Classics Department is not currently involved in the program, we hope to offer a course in the near future. Professor Walsh taught an Alpha section on Mythology as recently as Fall 2005.
