The study of communications provides students with a critical understanding of communication processes and industries, and their impact on society. The department combines a strong, professionally-oriented program and commitment to experience-based learning with an emphasis on critical thinking, observation, analysis and writing.

Where They Got Hired: Communication, Class of 2015

The Career Center at Loyola University Maryland conducts an annual follow-up survey with new Loyola graduates between six and nine months after Commencement to paint a comprehensive picture of the professional paths each class has chosen. Nearly 86 percent of the Class of 2015 responded to the survey.
