Through field experiences and service-learning courses, education majors obtain experience working with diverse children in urban & suburban school settings. Majors are placed in a school setting every semester. The program satisfies course requirements for certification in Maryland with possible reciprocity in all 50 states.

Where They Got Hired: Elementary Education, Class of 2015

The Career Center at Loyola University Maryland conducts an annual follow-up survey with new Loyola graduates between six and nine months after Commencement to paint a comprehensive picture of the professional paths each class has chosen. Nearly 86 percent of the Class of 2015 responded to the survey.
