Starting in academic year 2014-2015, the Project Mexico immersion program will be replaced with a new CCSJ immigration immersion program in Apopka, Florida called Project U.S. : Working and Learning with Immigrant Farmworkers.

The community partner for our new program is an agency called Hope CommUnity Center that has over 40 years of experience working with immigrants in Florida. The new CCSJ program will keep all of the best aspects of the Project Mexico program--strong education about immigration, great team-building activities and direct contact with local families--while saving significant costs in travel and expenses, and eliminating the need for the annual fundraising auction.
