To promote and foster an engaged intellectual community, all faculty are invited to utilize CCSJ to connect to community, learn more community-identified goals, and incubate projects for community-engaged scholarship. CCSJ works in close partnership with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs to facilitate grants.
The Kolvenbach Summer Research Grant funds community-engaged research conducted in Baltimore City and developed and conducted in partnership with community organizations or individuals and aimed toward helping the organization achieve its goals, as well as advancing knowledge in the field. These grants are available to undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Applications are due by the first Friday of the spring semester. For more information, see the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs page or contact Julie Ryder.
