Summer 2016 at St. Mark School
The Loyola speech-language and audiology department through the Loyola Clinical Centers will be conducting group articulation therapy and reading readiness skills groups. Services will be provided by graduate speech-language pathology clinicians under the supervision of a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist.

Reading Readiness Skills
This service will address blending sounds, segmenting (isolating individual sounds within a word), sequencing/manipulating sounds, and sound/letter association.
- For students entering Kindergarten through second grade (groups of 2-3)
- Tuesdays, Thursdays: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
This service area will focus on the following error sounds: s, r, sh, ch & l. The students will receive individual and group therapy (2-4 students) and will be grouped according to age/grade.
- For students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Tuesdays, 1- 3 p.m.; Thursdays (pending)
Both programs begin in mid-June and end July 21, but a program screening will be held on May 26 and 31 at the St. Mark School.
