Peer Educators

Working as a member of the Counseling Center peer education program involves developing programs to heighten the awareness of the campus community. It includes working closely with other students in and around the Loyola community as well as the Counseling Center staff. If you are interested in becoming a peer educator, please contact Jason Parcover in the Counseling Center at 410-617-2273.

Job Qualifications:

  • Preferred minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Effective communication skills
  • Appreciation and respect for differences among Loyola students
  • Desire to work with and help other students

Time Commitment:

  • Approximately one - two hours per week
  • Availability to participate in training courses, attend meetings, present programs, and other activities

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in team building and training activities
  • Work with other students and Counseling Center staff to develop programs
  • Provide programs for Loyola students and the greater Baltimore community
