Does Loyola have a mandatory meal plan?
No, Loyola does not have any required meal plans. We offer a Dining Advantage account and an Evergreen Account. The Dining Advantage Account is a declining balance spending account, and is yours to spend like cash at all dining service locations. This account is tax exempt and carries over from semester to semester and year to year. Money can easily be added to this account any time with no minimum requirement. The Evergreen Account is a flexible spending account but is charged 6% sales tax. This account can also be used at all campus dining locations, the campus book store, and at certain off campus dining locations.
Where can my student get a real breakfast?
During the fall and spring semesters we offer hot breakfast seven days a week at Moe’s Southwest Grill. Moe’s features items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, hash browns, and much more. In addition, we offer extended breakfast hours on the weekend.
Where can my student get a home cooked meal on campus?
Iggy's Market, located on the west side of campus offers a wide variety of home cooked meals that are rotated on a daily basis. We offer meals such as crab cakes, chicken parmesan, roasted chicken, turkey with gravy, meat loaf, tilapia, pasta with vegetables, stuffed shells, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, macaroni and cheese, various salads, and more! These meals are served in cold cases so that students have the option of taking them back to their dorm rooms to heat up at their convenience or they can have them heated up in Iggy's Market to enjoy in our dining room. We also offer this exact same concept in Boulder Garden Cafe called Iggy's Express!
My student is a vegetarian/vegan. Where can they eat?
All of our dining locations offer vegetarian or vegan menu items.
My student has a restricted diet/food allergies and the menu options available do not meet his/her needs. What will my student eat?
