9/15/10 - "Comedy in Jesuit Education"

The first Jesuit Dinner of the year was moderated by Professor Richard Blum of the Philosophy department and Father Tim Brown, S.J. of the Law & Social Responsibility department. Their presentation was on "Comedy in Jesuit Education" and included a slideshow, a reading from a Jesuit-written play that Loyola students translated from the Latin and published last year, and clips from the film The Mission. Dean McGuiness led the group in prayer to begin the evening, and everyone enjoyed the "Taste of Maryland" menu, which included Chicken Chesapeake, sweet Maryland corn, and peach cobbler.
