This position provides administrative and clinical experience in all facets of group planning, composition and scheduling. The ideal candidate is an autonomous individual with excellent communication skills, and an interest and willingness to be the point of contact for parents seeking social skills group services for their children.
Primary responsibilities include completing and documenting Social Skills Group (SSG) phone screens for upcoming social skills groups and offering community referrals, scheduling SSG intakes and coordinating them with the academic calendar, maintaining an up-to-date and current social skills waitlist in Excel, and receiving training and oversight from faculty to learn how to determine goodness of fit for the SSG group program groups and how to compose groups of members who fit well together. Interface with front office regarding program coordination and scheduling. Consistent with the mission and functioning of the Loyola Clinical Centers, social skills services are offered throughout the summer to ensure that clinical services provided to clients are not interrupted.
