Hours & Wages

800 hours /year - $15 per hour (part stipend, part scholarship)

Qualifications The Graduate Assistant will work a regular schedule during the core business hours, which may include week-end and/or evening hours during events. Ability to work at the Loyola Evergreen Campus and the Loyola Graduate Center Timonium Campus. Flexibility is a must, realizing that the roles and hours can change based on the needs of the department. Ability to work well with the alumni population as well as staff and faculty members.
Responsibilities

The role of the Graduate Assistant is to support the staff and activities sponsored by the office of alumni relations. The incumbent will -

  • Monitor, research and update the alumni electronic social networking site.

  • Assist with answering the main telephone line, relay messages, and greet visitors.

  • Work with staff on special events planning and management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
