Federal Work Study Student Employment Request Form

The University’s student employment program provides a rewarding work experience for students and supplements departmental staffing needs.  It is time to think about your student support needs for the next academic year.

As we plan for next year’s program we would like to remind you of the University’s commitment to hiring Federal Work-Study students.  Students who are eligible for FWS assistance depend on the money they earn through this program to meet a portion of their demonstrated financial need. As a reminder, approved work study positions are available for work-study eligible students only.  

Student positions are not guaranteed from one year to the next. In order to request consideration of your work study needs, you should gather documentation that includes the number of positions needed and type of responsibilities. To make your request, please complete the Student Request Form below.

Note: The Federal Work Study student request form is closed for the 2022-23 academic year. It will reopen in May 2023 for FY 2023-24.
