Inside Loyola Upgrade

The platform that Inside Loyola and team sites are built on, SharePoint, was upgraded on 8/2/16. While the new site looks very similar to the old one, you will notice some differences, like new menu options and features. The look and feel is cleaner and has more white space. You will also see a difference in the way team sites are organized and displayed.

Note: My Week and My Tasks will resume tracking your meetings and tasks from your email account in the coming weeks (once the email migration is complete.)

Known Issues

Technology Services is aware of a few issues and is working to resolve these. Submit other issues online or call the Help Desk at x5555.

Charter Bus Reservations and Driver Clearance System Issues
We are currently having technical issues with the Charter Bus Reservations system. The Driver Clearance system is now fixed, but please be sure to use one of the following browsers when submitting a Driver Clearance form: Internet Explorer 11, Firefox, Chrome. If you cannot complete a Charter Bus Reservation online, please contact Robert Mitchell on x1162 to make a reservation using the manual form.

Other Changes

In addition to the upgrade, other new features have been introduced:

  • Loyola Workspace is replacing Anywhere Apps (Citrix) and will provide secure access to Loyola applications and services regardless of the device or geographic location. Learn about Loyola Workspace.
  • Secure File Storage (inside of Loyola Workspace) will monitor and protect personally identifiable information (PII). Learn about Secure File Storage.
