Student Blogger Application Form

No one tells Loyola's story better than our students. Loyola student bloggers chronicle their lives and their interests, and offer a personal look into what it's like to experience Loyola as an undergraduate—academically and socially.

Student bloggers may choose to cover a broad range of topics or focus on one specific theme, whichever inspires them. Additionally, bloggers will be assigned topics to write about each month  (e.g. “The best neighborhood to explore in Baltimore,” or “Things you didn’t know about life with a roommate before college,” or “Your top five places to study off campus” or “The class you thought you’d hate that you ended up loving (and why) in the core curriculum”).

The audiences for Loyola student blogs are prospective students, current students, parents and families, and alumni

Requirements:

Minimum of one blog post every two weeks during the fall and/or spring semesters.

Compensation:

Bloggers will be paid at an hourly rate with a maximum of three hours for every week they submit a blog post.

Apply:

Current Loyola undergraduate students interested in applying should fill out and submit the form below. One writing sample is required. The writing sample(s) can be an assignment you’ve written for class, creative writing you’ve done on your own, an article you’ve written for publication, or an example of a blog post you’d write for us.

Qualified applicants may be contacted for a follow-up interview.
