Applications are due by 5 p.m. annually on the first Monday in October.
Faculty members applying for senior sabbatical leave are reminded that electronic copies of the application, as well as the required departmental letter of support, must be submitted electronically via the web form no later than 5 p.m. on the first Monday in October.
In preparing applications, faculty should consult the sabbatical leave guidelines and sabbatical application format. In addition, the departmental coverage form, is to be completed by the department chair and submitted online at the time of the application.
The Senior Sabbatical Leave Guidelines have been updated as of November 30, 2015. Changes are effective for applications submitted for the October 2016 deadline. Faculty members are encouraged to carefully review the guidelines.
Please note as part of the paperless university initiative no paper copies are due.

A report on sabbatical activites is due to the ORSP 30 days after the start of the semester in which the faculty member returns to full-time teaching.
