Manuscripts should be submitted in 12-point Times New Roman font. All parts of the manuscript should be double-spaced with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Pages should be numbered consecutively throughout the text. All manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the style guidelines of the American Psychological Association (APA) Manual, 6th ed., and submitted electronically as an Microsoft® Word document to email@example.com. All illustrations, photographs, tables, figures, and charts should be saved as separate files and numbered accordingly. Authors are responsible for securing copyright permission for any materials that have been reproduced in their works, if applicable, and are required to sign a permission form transferring that permission to the publisher. All manuscripts, photographs, artwork, and other forms of text become the property of the publisher.
The complete title of the article and the name of the author(s) should be typed only on the first page to ensure anonymity in the review process. Subsequent pages should have no author names, but may carry a short title at the top. Information in text or references that would identify the author should be deleted from the manuscript in order to insure an impartial review. The first-named author or the coauthor, who will be handling the correspondence with the editor and working with the Journal’s editorial staff, should submit an email address and telephone number.
Articles submitted for publication should be between 5,000-7,500 words in length and double-spaced. An abstract of 100-120 words should be included at the beginning of the article. The accuracy and completeness of all references are the responsibility of the author(s). A reference list should contain only those references that are cited in the text.
Essay reviews, rejoinders, and commentaries will be published in a separate Views and Reviews section. Views and Reviews will serve as a forum in which to dialogue about controversial issues, critique public policies, and/or analyze scholarly work of relevance to the Journal. Essay reviews, rejoinders, and commentaries are limited to 2,000 words.
Manuscripts will be acknowledged by the editors upon receipt. After a preliminary editorial review, articles will be sent for blind review to two reviewers with expertise in the topic area. The review process will take approximately 8-10 weeks. The editors reserve the right to accept or to reject all manuscript submissions.
