Our mission is to ensure safety on campus, maintain order, preserve the peace, promote individual responsibility for preventing crime, reduce the opportunity for crime and disorder, reduce fear and provide a sense of security for the Loyola community. Additionally, we protect life, health, and property, and uphold the constitutional rights of all citizens.
Public safety conducts analysis to determine root causes of crime and then use creative problem solving strategies, along with Baltimore City Police Department, to implement effective crime control methodologies. The department is also responsible for parking enforcement on the campus and in the adjourning neighborhoods.
The Loyola University Maryland Department of Public Safety would like to invite you to connect with us on Facebook.
