How do I prepare for summer web registration?

  1. Review course offerings using Loyola Self-Service, Course Catalog beginning December 8, 2023.

  2. Consult with AASC in-person (MH 138), by phone (410-617-5050), or email (aasc@loyola.edu). They will advise you on the courses needed to complete your degree requirements and check for completion of, or current registration for, necessary prerequisites.

  3. Provide AASC with evidence of permission for all courses requiring permission of the instructor, unless the department gives electronic permission.

  4. After advising you about your course eligibility, AASC will enter an electronic code for each course giving you access to register using Student Planning.

  5. Log into inside.loyola.edu then select Loyola Self-Service, Student Planning, Go to Plan & Schedule to register when registration opens.

How do I pay for courses when using Student Planning?

Students using Student Planning are billed on May 1, 2024 for summer registration charges and fees. Payment is due upon receipt of the summer bill.

Using Student Planning

Access the Undergraduate Student Planning User Guide for instructions on using Student Planning Add/Drop.

Students unable to web register

Registrations may be completed at the Academic Advising and Support Center (AASC - Maryland Hall 138) and are accepted through the late registration period.

Billing

Submission of registration by a student incurs the obligation to pay all tuition and fees.  Costs can be found under Tuition and Fees.

Dropping/Withdrawing courses

Requests to drop/withdraw from a course must be submitted in writing on a Change of Registration Form once Web Registration closes. Non-payment of tuition, mere non-attendance at class, or permission from an instructor to withdraw from a course does not constitute official withdrawal from the course. Unless approval is received from the Academic Advising and Support Center, a grade of F will be entered on the student's permanent record. In case of inability to return to campus, please contact the Academic Advising and Support Center, 410-617-5050, or aasc@loyola.edu.
