Andy joined the Loyola staff in August 2013 as Associate Director of Facilities and Risk Management after spending seven years as both Coordinator and Assistant Director of Facilities at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.  In his position as Associate Director, Andy provides support and direct supervision of daily operations at the Fitness and Aquatic Center.

Andy originated from the great state of Michigan and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s in Sport Administration and a minor in Business in 2004.  Following graduation, he completed his master’s degree in Sport and Recreation Administration and Graduate Assistantship with the Department of Recreational Sports at Bowling Green State University.

In additional to his role as Assistant Director of Facilities at FIU, Andy was involved with various committees on campus including Student Conduct Faculty Representative, First Year Experience Instructor, Media Relations with Intercollegiate Athletics, Development of the Bike Shop and CPR programming, and was an advisor to several student associations.  Andy supports all Michigan and Detroit teams.  You will typically find Andy outside running, biking, reading, golfing, or catching a baseball or football game.  He also enjoys competing in 5k runs, half marathons and triathlons.
