Group Swim Lessons for Adults and Children*
Our group swim lessons are taught in small groups to ensure and encourage proper skill development. Each class will have between 2-3 instructors to ensure safety for all participants. Children must be at least 3 years old to participate in group lessons.
*Due to a limited number of Water Safety Instructors, we will not be offering group swim lessons this Spring*
FAC Member Fee: $50
FAC Non-Member Fee: $75 (includes spouse/child of Fitness and Aquatics Center Member and affiliates of Loyola University)
There is a $5 discount for additional siblings/parents enrolled in group lessons
Fee includes 8 thirty minute sessions and a t-shirt
Private Swim Lessons for Adults and Children*
If group swim lessons do not work with your schedule or you want specialized attention for yourself or your child to develop stronger swimming skills, we have an option for you. We will pair you with one of our swim instructors to work one-on-one with you in the pool. Private Swim Lessons are only available for FAC Members.
Fee: $25 per participant for each 30 minute session

Registration for Group lessons
Participants must register for lessons between January 14-27, 2013. Registration forms can be filled out using the link above or with Member Services at the FAC. Payment for lessons (check or credit card) is due at the time of registration. Member Services hours are Monday-Thursday from 12pm-8:30pm, Friday from 12pm-6pm, and Saturday from 12pm-2pm. Just ask for Member Services at the FAC Welcome Desk.
Lifeguarding Certification Course
At this time, we are not offering any lifeguarding certification courses.
Self-Directed Exercise and Equipment
Lanes are always available for lap swimming during pool hours of operation, however, there are times when portions of the pool are reserved for scheduled activities and club/intercollegiate practices.
The following is a list of available exercise equipment located on the pool deck. The lifeguards can provide guidance regarding proper equipment use upon request.

- Hand Paddles
- Aqua Jogging Belts
