The Department of Recreational Sports is proud to continue our partnership with Union Memorial Sports Medicine in offering an Athletic Trainer to our club sport student-athletes.
Mike Eubank, MS, ATC returns to the Rec Sports team this year as our club sports athletic trainer! Splitting his time between Loyola, the Baltimore Blast, and working as a Physician Extender at Union Memorial Hospital, Mike will be offering training room hours at the FAC from 4-5:45pm Monday to Thursday. Additionally, he will be covering weeknight outdoor practices and weekend club sport matches. All club sport athletes are invited to visit him during these times, or you can call him at x5439 to schedule an appointment.
Before Loyola, Mike worked at Stevenson University as an Associate Athletic Trainer for 3 years. He worked primarily with Men's Soccer, Men's Volleyball, Womens Basketball, and Womens Lacrosse, performing injury evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries. Also, Mike was in charge of organizing pre-season physicals for all new/transfer student-athletes. Prior to Stevenson, Mike served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Salisbury Unviersity working with variety of teams, while earning his Master's Degree in Applied Physiology. Mike began his career at Jacksonville University as an Intern Athletic Trainer during the spring semester working with the me'ns and women's soccer teams.
Mike completed his undergraduate work at Roanoke College in 2005, earning his degree in Bachelors of Science with major in Athletic Training.
Mike is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association, and a member of the Maryland Athletic Trainers Association and College Athletic Trainers Society, as well as certified in CPR through the American Heart Association.
