Below is a list of RHA social events that are currently being planned for the 2016-2017 academic year. If you have a suggestion for a new RHA event, want to help us improve upon these, or want to collaborate with RHA to improve the social experience of Loyola students, email Dylan Graham Vice President for Social Affairs, to share your ideas!
Fall 2016 Social Events
Tired of made-up ghost stories and dubious history? Then come take a nighttime ghost walk through Baltimore. You will go on a spine-tingling journey into the dark and troubled history of Charm City while meeting some of our more spirited residents and visiting our most horrific haunted sites! The Ghost Tour takes place every October and consists of a walk through historical areas of Baltimore, in recent years including Mount Vernon, Federal Hill, or Fell's Point.
Date: Friday, October 21, 2016
Are you ready for some football? Every year RHA host the annual Wing Bowl, featuring a broadcast of a Baltimore Ravens game and a competitive wing eating contest. Students can register to be in the wing eating competition and have the chance to win two tickets to a Baltimore Ravens game! This free event offers a wide range of food and games throughout the evening.

Tree Lighting Ceremony
Every year (weather permitting) after Lesson and Carols RHA hosts an event where students, faculty, staff, administrators and the local community can come together to witness the lighting of the Loyola Christmas Tree on the quad. We get into the Christmas spirit with hot chocolate, cookies, and a reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas."
