Domestic and International Undergraduate Students: In an effort to ensure students’ physical and financial health, Loyola University Maryland requires all full time undergraduate students to have health insurance during the 2014-15 academic year.

Please note that action on your part is required even if you do not need to purchase the college sponsored health insurance

You are required to either enroll online in the Loyola-sponsored Student Health Insurance plan, or submit an online request to waive coverage. To waive coverage, your plan must have comparable coverage based on Loyola’s waiver criteria. Please be sure that your current plan benefits extend to the Maryland area. For additional information, please review Frequently Asked Questions.

Spring Enrollment Begins on December 1, 2014 and ends on February 28, 2015.

To enroll in or waive coverage, visit www.aetnastudenthealth.com after December 1.

The deadline date is February 28, 2015. If you do not make your insurance selection by this date you will be automatically enrolled in the Loyola-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan.

The spring rate for the 2014-15 Loyola-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan is:

*Spring: $1,060 (for the period 1/1/15 – 8/14/15)
*Spring enrollment is only for newly registered students for the spring semester.

For assistance or questions with online enrollment or the waiver process, please contact Paige Fritze at 800-346-4075 ext. 1607 or email loyola@rcmd.com.

We expect that you will have a healthy year, but we strongly recommend that you make an informed decision about your health insurance coverage while you are a student at Loyola University Maryland
