Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)

SHAC is a campus organization led by students to promote increased student/consumer participation on university health issues at Loyola. The goals of SHAC are to ensure optimal care for students, review student feedback to the Student Health Service administration and to discuss day-to-day operations at the Student Health Center. In addition, SHAC also works in conjunction with the Student Health Center to disseminate health information to the student body. Any student interested in becoming a member of SHAC may obtain an application from the SHAC office in the Health Center, or, fill out an online application.

Student Health Awareness Resource Program (SHARP)

The Student Health Awareness Resource Program is a group of peer educators who are concerned with the wellness of students. SHARP attempts to increase awareness of issues that affect college students and to encourage students to take responsibility for their health. The group has a specific focus on sexual health and awareness.
