Natka Bianchini, Ph.D., dean of the class of 2019, joined Loyola University Maryland in 2009 as a theatre professor in the department of Fine Arts.  She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Wellesley College, and a master’s and doctorate degrees in drama from Tufts University.  At Loyola, she teaches courses in theatre history and directing, in addition to directing one production each year for the Evergreen Players.  She is also the author of the book Samuel Beckett’s Theatre in America which was published by Palgrave MacMillan press in 2015.

Dean Bianchini lives in Lutherville, Maryland with her wife Janna, their twin sons Leo and Alec, and entirely too many pets.
