If you would like to make an appointment, send an email to email@example.com
with a brief description of your assignment and some of your availabilities.
You can also make your own appointments online via TutorTrac. To do so, follow these simple steps (please note, there is no need to adjust your speakers, this video is silent):
Using Firefox as your browser (not Internet Explorer), log into TutorTrac
using your Loyola user name and password.
(This is the same as your log in for Moodle, Web Advisor, email, Inside Loyola, etc.)
In the Student Options box in the left-hand corner, choose “Search Availability.”
Then choose “The Writing Center” from the “Centers” dropdown menu. Evergreen is the default center location; graduate students who want to be tutored at Evergreen, Columbia or Timonium should select that campus from the drop-down menu. Please note that graduate tutors meet with graduate students only.
Choose the course you need writing tutoring in from the “Sections” dropdown menu. (Only the courses you are enrolled in this semester or "self-sponsored" will appear.)
Choose the date and time you would like to make a tutoring appointment.
Important: We suggest choosing “All” availability. By selecting all, you will see the full writing center schedule for the next two weeks.
Select the appointment time you want and your preferred appointment length (1/2 hour or 1 hour). You will receive an appointment confirmation email immediately and an appointment reminder email 24-hours before your scheduled appointment. Out of fairness to other students, we only allow one appointment per day for each student.
If you have any problems or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
