The Political Science Department at Loyola College in Maryland invites applications for a tenure track position in comparative politics at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in August 2008. The area of research and teaching specialty is open with the exclusion of Eastern Europe, but candidates should be able to teach an introductory course on Middle East politics. Once hired, the successful applicant will be expected to teach a 3/3 load, including both introductory and upper level courses for undergraduates, and demonstrate clear success in research. Loyola College is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching and service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community.
