Loyola College in Maryland offers many different certificate programs in Education. Click on a link below to learn more about a specific program or click on the book to read our departmental viewbook. - Certificate of Advanced Study in Education (CASE)- Advanced graduate work beyond the master's degree may be pursued in specific program areas. The 30-credit program leads to a Certificate of Advanced Study in Education (CASE). Requirements are 18 hours of coursework in a specific area of concentration and 12 hours of coursework in other areas. Students must meet with an adviser prior to beginning the CASE.
The CASE program is for certified school counselors who are interested in furthering their knowledge and skills in counseling, including such specialized areas as family counseling, the counseling of exceptional children, drug and alcohol counseling, clinical counseling, and supervision in counseling. Students can choose to focus on a specific area or they may generalize. The program is designed to provide advanced training in the psycho-educational approaches to assist people across the lifespan. |
