Accessing Dr. Marcovitz's Public Network Drive
From time to time, Dr. Marcovitz might make available files
for you to access. Rather than loading the file onto every computer
in the lab, Dr. Marcovitz can place the files in a public location
on the network that can be accessed by any Windows computer on
any of Loyola's campuses.
To access these files, follow the following steps:
- Double click on the MyComputer icon (probably in the upper
left corner of your screen).
- Look for an icon labeled Facfiles on 'Academic\Users'. This
represents the H: drive on your computer and contains publicly
accessible folders for many faculty members.
- Double click on the Facfiles on 'Academic\Users' icon.
- Use the scroll bars to locate the folder named "Marcovitz."
- Double click on "Marcovitz."
- You should now see folders and files that you can access.
- If you have found the file or folder you want, you can copy
it to your own disk (floppy disk, Zip disk, or hard disk) by
dragging it to the proper folder.
