Technology Committee and Stakeholders Mini-Paper

In class, we discuss the role that various people play on a technology committee and as technology stakeholders. The discussion is general and does not apply to a specific situation. The purpose of this paper is to apply that knowledge to your specific situation. Use the class discussion and the Guidebook for Developing an Effective Technology Plan as a beginning, but think about what is realistic and appropriate for your school. Write a memo to your principal (approximately 3 pages double-spaced) describing who should be on the technology committee (names are not required, just positions) and why. Think about the same issues we think about in class:

This will differ from what you come up with in class in that your school is not like the idealized situation, so your school technology committee might have a very different composition than what we discussed. Additionally, while some people will include general ideas we discussed in class, be sure to include specific ideas that relate to your own situation.
