Printing the Web Address (URL) on Your Web Page Printouts

Internet Explorer for Windows

Choose Page Setup from the File menu, and you will see the dialog box on the left. You can choose what goes in the header and footer of each page by using the cryptic codes on the right. To get the web page address on your page, put &u in either the header or the footer. You can play with the other codes, but that is the main one that you will need. In the example below, the header will contain the window title (&w) on the top left and then centered (&b) the page number(&p) and the total number of pages (&P), such as "Page 1 of 3"). The footer will contain the page address (&u) on the bottom left, and, centered (&b), the date (&d).
