Shared Catalogue and Borrowing with Participating Libraries

The new Loyola Notre Dame Catalogue is shared among Mount Saint Mary's College in Emittsburg, Maryland; Hood College in Frederick, Maryland; and Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland.  You may limit your search to items own the Loyola Notre Dame Library or locate materials on your topic owned by all of the participating colleges.  Books requested from the other libraries in this consortium will be delivered to the Loyola Notre Dame Library within 48 hours of the request and, if you would like, forwarded to the Columbia Campus.

Reciprocal Borrowing from Baltimore Area Libraries

The Loyola Notre Dame Library has established reciprocal borrowing privileges with other college and unversity libraries.  Students and facult with current Loyola College Identification Cards may borrow books directly from participating libraries; however, individual libraries may restrict the quantity and/or type of materials that may be borrowed.  Materials borrowed from participating libraries must be returned directly to those libraries.

Most online catalogues for participating libraries can be searched through the individual college or university homepages or through Sailor (www.sailor.lib.md.us).  You will not have access to the periodical databases at other colleges and universities.
