Important Loyola Notre Dame Library Regulations

Students and faculty must have a current Loyola Photo ID for all library transactions.

Never lend your ID to others.  Students and faculty are responsible for all materials checked out on their cards.  Report lost or stolen cards immediately to the circulation desk.

Loan Periods and Schedule of Fees:

Loan Period:  Four weeks for students.  Books are renewable, but LNDL reserves the right to recall them.
Replacement Cost:  The Loyola Notre Dame Library will charge the replacement cost of any library material, which is $45.00 for books plus a $25.00 processing fee. 
Failure to Return Recalled Book Fine: A fine of $2.00 per day will be levied for failure to return a recalled book within five days.

Other Regulations:

Library-Use Only-Materials never leave the library.
Circulating reserves are non-renewable, but are available for checkout on the next calendar day.
Overnight reserves are due by 10:00 AM on the next day.  Fines: $2.00 per day per item.
