Remote Access to Library Databases

Faculty and students may access the Loyola Notre Dame Library's web site at www.lndl.org or www.loyola.edu/library for book holdings, A/V materials, and periodical databases from any place where they have internet access.  Databases include Expanded Academic Index, General Business File, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, ERIC, Literature Resource Center, Religion Index, Books in Print, PsycINFO, PsycArticles, Social Sciences Citation Idex, Mental Measurements Yearbook, and LexisNexis Universe.  The library frequently adds databases.  Visit their web sites often to see what's new! 

To access periodical databases remotely, faculty and students must have a curent library barcodeThis barcode is the fourteen-digit number, beginning with 22425, on your Loyola Identification Card.  (If you do not have a barcode or if your barcode does not work, plese call the Loyola Notre Dame Library Circulation Desk at 410-617-6801.)

To access periodical indices remotely, you must first lock on the red bar at the top left of the Loyola Notre Dame Library home page to provide your library barcode authentication.
