Confidentiality

a.  It is recognized that most of the transactions relating to
     purchasing are of a confidential nature, especially in regard to
     suppliers and their competitors. Quotations, bids, and/or
     proposals are considered to be proprietary information and are
     not to be revealed to competitors of the firms submitting them.

b.  All purchasing files are to be maintained in a confidential manner.
     Access to these files shall be restricted to College personnel
     involved in procurement of goods and services for the College.
