- Certification areas include:
- Elementary (Grades 1-6)
- Secondary (Grades 7-12): English, Biology, Chemistry, Earth/Space Science, Mathematics, Physics, Social Studies
- Secondary (Grades PK-12): Art, Spanish, French, Music (Instrumental and Vocal)
- Full-time program begins summer only and is completed in one year
- Part-time, self-paced begins fall, spring, or summer and takes 2-5 years

- Evergreen Online M.Ed. (36 credits) option designed for professionals in the Montessori sector
- Concurrent M.Ed. (36 credits) option offered in partnership with select group of AMI institutes to earn both AMI training and their master’s

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- 15-credit post-certificate hybrid cohort program (fully online beginning summer 2019)
- Designed for teachers, special educators, administrators, school counselors, psychologists, and reading specialists to develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for effective expertise in bilingual teaching, learning, and assessment
- Upon completion of the certificate, teachers certified in Maryland may independently apply for MSDE ESOL endorsement upon passing the ESOL English to Speakers of the Other Languages Praxis II #5361 exam

Non-Degree Special Student Option
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Applicants may take no more than 11 credits as a non degree student
- Individuals who wish to continue beyond the 11 credits must formally apply for admission to a degree or post-master's certificate program
- Does not include school counseling courses
