For teachers and professionals teaching and working with English language learners

There is a critical need for teachers and other professionals to possess the skills to effectively teach and work with English language learners (ELLs). Loyola's Certificate in Teaching English Language Learners (TELL) cohort program is designed to address that need.

  • Completed in one year
  • Begins once a year each Fall
  • A 15-credit hybrid graduate certificate program that qualifies for financial aid
  • Designed for teachers, education administrators and school-based professionals, counselors, and other health and human services professionals working with ELLs
  • Prepares certified teachers to add the ESOL endorsement
  • Priority Deadline: July 1 (Rolling admission thereafter as space is available)
