Psychology Master's Education: Practitioner Tracks

The master's level practitioner tracks in Clinical and Counseling Psychology prepare graduates to begin employment in the psychology field under the supervision of doctoral-trained and licensed psychologists.  Loyola's course of study provides excellent preparation for careers as psychological associates, psychologists in the schools setting, or as clinicians in the hospital setting. This practitioner-based program also prepares students for entry into Psy.D. programs and serves as an ideal introduction to master's-level counselor licensure through the LCPC.   These programs comprise 45 credit hours and require stduents to complete externship experiences. The practitioner track degree programs may be pursued on either a full- or part-time basis.
