Non-degree student enrollment option
Individuals interested in pursuing courses at the graduate level
who possess a bachelor's degree are eligible to take courses as
a post-baccalaureate non-degree student (post-master's students
fit under the Master's Plus option). The post-baccalaureate non-degree
student option benefits anyone interested in exploring new topical
areas or taking courses for recreation before committing to the
degree option. While there is no limit to the number of individual
courses one can take as a non-degree student, only six credits taken
under this student classification may be advanced toward the Master
of Arts in Liberal Studies degree or any Certificates of Advanced
Study.
Enrollment requires admission and, in some courses, permission from
the instructor before registration. For more information, contact
the office of graduate admission.
