The policies and practices presented in this manual apply to all administrators and staff of Loyola College in Maryland, unless stated otherwise, and reflect College policy revisions as of January 1, 2006. THIS MANUAL IS PROVIDED AS A GUIDE AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED A CONTRACT, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. The College reserves the right to make changes to the policies, procedures, and other statements made in this manual. Federal and State law and the College’s dynamic needs may require that portions of the manual be rewritten. This manual supersedes any previous manual, and the contents may be changed by the College unilaterally at any time. This manual does not guarantee employment for any employee for any period of time. Loyola College is an “at-will” employer, which means that employees have the right to resign their positions at any time and the College may terminate the employment relationship at any time for any lawful reason. In few circumstances, contract employment agreements may be the exception to this at-will status.
