National Fellowships

Dean of Freshmen

200 hours/year                                                                                         $14.30/hour (50% stipend, 50% scholarship)

Responsibilities include: setting up and maintaining a functional and attractive website for the College’s National Fellowships Program and updating links to current scholarship competitions; organizing, by specific competitions, pertinent information provided by the national Association of Fellowship Advisors through the organizations listserv;
developing timelines for steps required by each competition, and compiling the teaching schedules of members of the National Fellowships Committee as well as class schedules of prospective nominees, to determine possible times for NFC interviews with prospective nominees;  assisting with organizing various previously published brochures on several of the more traditional awards; designing publication brochures for awards; and assisting with video mock interviews for prospective Rhodes/Marshall/Truman interviewees.  Assistant will also be required to provide office coverage during National Fellowships Advisor’s absence.
