My name is Kristen Sullivan and I am President of the IMA for the 2002-2003 academic year.  I am a senior accounting major and have also begun the MBA program here at Loyola in which I plan on concentrating in finance.  I am from Massapequa, New York, but I worked here in Baltimore this summer in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.  It was a great experience in which I learned a tremendous amount of information about the accounting profession, as well as made numerous contacts in the Baltimore area.  I will begin working full-time for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the fall of 2003.  Currently I work in the equipment room and lifeguard here at Loyola.  I enjoy running and swimming when I have spare time.  I am looking forward to an exciting senior year, and I hope to have a successful year with the IMA.

Hi, my name is Gina Carney.  As a senior at Loyola College in MD, I am pursuing a B.B.A. in Accounting.  After I finish my undergraduate degree, I plan on going to law school and earning a J.D. is estate planning.  Since February 2002, I have been working at a local CPA firm, Scheiner, Mister, & Grandizio, P.A., where I have assisted in audits and reviews, tax returns, payrolls, and other accounting services.

This year I will be serving as Liason to Beta Alpha Psi.  It is a great opportunity for me to be invovled in both of the Accounting Organizations that we have here at Loyola College.  This summer I had an internship with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Baltimore.  I worked in the Tax Services department at PwC and had a great experience.  Away from accounting I try to stay active with running and other activities.  Finally, I look forward to all of the opportunities and a successful year with the IMA.
